AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE-ENGLISH INTERPRETATION PROGRAM<br />
The degree programs in ASL-English Interpretation<br />
graduated 34 students in 2008-2009, all B.S.<br />
degrees. Fifty-two new students matriculated into<br />
the program in September 2009. Currently nine<br />
percent of total enrollment are students from ethnic<br />
minority backgrounds. Since its inception,<br />
the Department of ASL-English and Interpreting<br />
Education has graduated 585 students. Of that<br />
number, 505 have graduated with an A.A.S.<br />
degree, and 74 with a B.S degree, and six with a<br />
certificate.<br />
