Antalya is one of the cities stand out with its rich flora in Turkey. Along with its rich flora, it<br />

also has a wide diversity of habitats. High rising mountains in short distances, valleys, rock<br />

cliffs, coastal dunes, macchie, woods, variety of soil structures and climate provide unique<br />

environment for the biological diversity of Antalya. Antalya is also the source of<br />

economically important species of herbs, shrubs and trees.<br />

The floristic researches around the town of Korkuteli, introduce the richness of flora with the<br />

number of the endemic species in the area. Korkuteli, 60 km NW of Antalya, situated on a<br />

high plataue surrounded with the mountains. Dominant climates, mediterranean and<br />

territorial, and the topographical variety provide the biological diversity in the area. With this<br />

study, 15 of the endemic and rare taxa presented, displayed with the photos and their<br />

morphological characteristics.<br />
