Each day will include crafts, art activities, stories and a small snack. We will go outside (weather permitting) a couple of days. Each day will also include a swim lesson for the last 30 minutes where the children will be divided into swim levels and taught a class. SquaSH anD aCtion CamPS The Squash and Action summer camps that we will be running during July and August are based on any junior keen to play squash, learn the basics of the sport or to play with their friends. Everyone will learn technique, rules and match play in a fun rewarding environment. This is a program that allows parents to leave their children in the childcare while running errands, going to appointments or just taking a break. You must pre-book as there are a limited number of spots. If your child is an infant please ensure they are also booked for infant childcare. SPring gym/muSiC ClaSSeS Spring gym/music programs as well as Beginning Steps and Giggles classes all finish the last week of May. June ClaSSeS There are some classes available for the month of June, please check Game Time for details. SPring infant bloCk bookingS Spring infant block bookings continue until June 30 th . If your classes end before then and therefore you will not be using your times, please cancel them with childcare to avoid being charged. Summer infant bloCk bookingS July 4 - August 27 Summer block bookings can be made by phoning childcare starting on: • Monday, June 13 th at 8:30 am for Active members • Monday, June 20 th at 8:30 am for Select members. These are for infants (6 weeks to 18 months) who will be coming at the same times each week. You can make up to 3 block bookings each a maximum of 2 hours. weekly Friday Night Dinner Buffet Kids under 3 eat Free! CelebrationS These are once a month classes which celebrate special days. Each class is 1 ½ hours. Celebration: Easter Fun Monday, April 18 th | 1:00 - 2:30 pm | $15.00/child Celebration: Mother May I Monday, May 2 nd | 1:00 - 2:30 pm | $15.00/child Celebration: My Dad is Awesome Monday, June 13 th | 10:00 - 11:30 am | $15.00/child *please note different time! You can register for these today on Game Time. Summer HourS We will once again be open Wednesday and Friday evenings until 8:00 pm this summer. All other days we will close at 4:00 pm. beginning StePS for fall <strong>2011</strong> There are still a few spaces available for the Tuesday/ Thursday afternoon class. Check Game Time for details or pick up a brochure from the Childcare. CHilDCare foCuS of tHe montH Food Free Area The childcare centre and coat room are Food Free Zones. In order to keep the childcare safe for all children including those with severe allergies, we need to keep the space completely food free. Please help us ensure the safety of all children by keeping food out of the childcare or keeping it completely wrapped and in a bag. If the childcare staff find food on the counters that is not wrapped and in a bag they will dispose of it. If your child has a severe allergy to any food or medicine please make sure you let us know. If they have an Epi-pen we have a special form you can complete to allow us to use it if needed. If they do not have an Epi-pen, it is still important to tell us as some of our classes include food and we need to know to make the class safe for your child. All allergies can be put into Game Time so that for any class your child is in, the attendance sheet will show they have an allergy.
