• <strong>Fire</strong> doors (FD30): these do not need<br />

smoke seals, but otherwise the same as<br />

FD30S above.<br />

• Emergency light<strong>in</strong>g on each land<strong>in</strong>g and<br />

hallway.<br />

a) Older converted build<strong>in</strong>gs with poor<br />

fire separation.<br />

<strong>in</strong>terl<strong>in</strong>ked smoke and heat detectors with<br />

<strong>in</strong>tegral battery back-up.<br />

LD2 detection: detectors <strong>in</strong> the follow<strong>in</strong>g<br />

areas:<br />
