Falmouth’s postgraduate students
have a number of bursaries and
research funding options available
to them including the John
Brabourne Awards for TV/film work
experience, TwoFourTV’s bursaries
for TV Production students and
the Scott Trust Charitable Fund
broadcast bursaries, which offer
financial help and work experience
within the Guardian Media Group.

One month after I finished my MA, I landed
an internship at CNN International. I now work
full-time at CNN and can attribute much of my
success to the training I received on the International
Journalism course. The course gave me the confidence,
knowledge and tools needed to excel in a fast-paced
newsroom environment.

Internationally acclaimed musician
Gravenhurst supplied the soundtrack
and Carolina was invited back to film at
the festival – including Kate Winslet’s

Chris worked with Penryn-based
design and innovation agency, Sea
Communications. During his project,
he created illustrations for two highprofile
projects: Dott Cornwall’s Big
Design Challenge and the National
Trust’s Coleton Fishacre.

Working at Kestle Barton, a rural
centre for the contemporary arts, Lucy
assisted the curatorial director with
exhibition preparation, marketing and
administration. She also created a map
of the site and developed a colouring
book to help children engage with
the gardens.
