The whole of UCF felt very inclusive – everyone
is always looking out for one another. The
International Office was excellent and they were
always keen to help. The course was amazing and
the tutors are really well connected worldwide.
There’s huge diversity on
the International Journalism
course; everyone on my
course had a different story
and background.
There were students from India,
Lebanon, USA and Nepal and people
that had lived abroad in Hong Kong,
Kazakhstan and Australia; many
had worked in a different profession
before deciding to take the journalism
route. This made for a really fascinating,
diverse and fun group.
Postgraduate study really
helped me get where I am
today. One month after
I finished my studies I got a
job as a cameraman on The
X Factor back in Norway.
The support I got from Falmouth
was fantastic – they helped me make
contacts in the industry and the
International Office made sure I had
everything I needed for a flying start.
