MPhil/PhD – Research & Innovation*

Studying for an MPhil or PhD gives you
the opportunity to develop significant
expertise in research approaches and
– especially in the case of doctoral study
– to make an original contribution to the
subject. As a research degree student,
you’ll become part of a vibrant research
community with groups, individuals and
clusters of activity across a full spectrum
of art and design subjects.
We especially encourage applications
from those interested in practice-based
or practice-informed approaches to
research. Of course, we’re also keen
to receive applications from those with
proposals for work with more theoretical
or historical emphasis.
