FXU is the representative body of students at University
College Falmouth and University of Exeter, Cornwall Campus.
FXU is your union and is there to help you get the most from
your university experience and to ensure that advice and
support are always on hand. With three full-time studentelected
presidents and a dedicated team of coordinators and
advisers, it means that voices are heard, problems are solved
and, of course, amazing events are held! FXU will help you:
— engage with the community: from volunteering
to organising fundraising events.
— Get involved: visit an FXU office to join clubs and societies,
and buy tickets for gigs.
— Seek advice: whatever the issue, a trained adviser
is always ready to listen and help.
Mature students
Each year during the Freshers’ Fortnight, FXU organises
a mature students’ social. Following this event (if there is
sufficient interest), a formal student-run Mature Students’
Network could be set up to provide regular opportunities
for social activities as well as meetings to discuss any
issues of particular importance to mature students.
helpMe forum
You can access this online forum before you arrive
to network with students on your course and other
postgraduates.
