Before your team takes the field, our<br />

team takes action.<br />

Stage Crew lighted up tl;e cons, con-<br />

certs and the special events that took<br />

place in the auditorium or the fieldhouse<br />

of Lewis and Clark. The guys in Stage<br />

Crew had to be capable of lifting heavy<br />

equipment and maintaining control over<br />

the light and sound systems. It gave the<br />

members a chance to learn how to oper-<br />

ate the equipment correctly that was<br />

provided by Lewis and Clark, "Stage<br />

Crew's responsibilities know no bounds"<br />

stated, Stage Crew Advisor, Chuck<br />

Schaffer.<br />

Creative Society. new to Lewis and Clark this<br />

year. was founded by Kevin Gould. It's a club to get<br />

people to express themselves and to create. The<br />

club met every other Wednesday. The club held a<br />

variety of diverse activities such as, group sculptures,<br />

banner painting, informal iam sessions and<br />

much more. Ben Parzybok had this to say about the<br />

club, "Creative Society is a revoluationary club for<br />

Lewis and Clark, Anyone is allowed to join, There is<br />

no talent. academic interest or social standing required<br />

to join. When the club is in meeting it is<br />

amazing to behold twenty people or so all ecstatically<br />

excited and contributing to any idea<br />

dreamed up a few minutes before. i hope that an<br />

underclassman has the motivation, like Kevin did,<br />

to keep it going. It could become an important part<br />

of Lewis and Clark's culture."<br />
