Far Right, Loren receives a congratulating

The swish of the hockey puck and the
block of the goalie exited the crowd. One
outstanding player, Loren Klock, Junior,
played on the Blazer Ice Hockey Team, He
played the right wing position on his team
that won the National Championship in New
York, In order to keep up with a champion-
ship schedule, Loren practiced three hours
an week from October to March at Eagles Ice

Arena, Hockey was one sport that received
little recognition from the L.c. student body
since it was not part of the curriculum, This
was very discouraging to Loren, who wanted
hockey to become a high school sport like it
is back East, Dedication like this comes from
a love of hockey and a burning desire to win,
According to Loren "Everything is legal in
hockey until you get caught,"
