The WILD Drill T earn
With 30 strong members, the 1988-89
Dril Team set the pace for another outstanding
year by performing at the
Homecoming game in late October. The
. girls have worked hard to uphold their
superior ratings. In March they attended
the Washington State Dril Team Compe-
tition with a different attitude. Instead
of doing their traditional formal routine,
they did the Rubber Chicken. "This year
we hope to provide more entertainment
for the audience instead of creating r'outines
to please a judge", commented Alicia
Beale. Along with receiving the high-
The Dril Team shows grace and coordination,
est honors at competition last year, they
have recieved superior ratings for the
last 4 years.
The Dril Team performed at many
events such as area high schools and colleges,
football and basketball games,
cons and the Lilac Parade. They performed
with pompoms at football games
and they did Jazz at some basketball
games. Their most fun performance was
the Rubber Chicken at halftime of the LC
vs Ferris basketball game. Their major
fund raiser was the garage sale.
