Dairy Farm Singapore Reinforces Service Campaign
Dairy Farm Singapore launched the
second year of its highly successful
Service Campaign with a management
team session followed by a series of
training sessions for the wider group
to introduce and teach staff how to
deliver the 2012 theme of ‘Service
with a Touch’.
As part of the training programme,
participants were given a heartshaped
note on which to write
their pledge for better service and
then asked to paste the note in a
designated area of their respective
store or department to strengthen
the commitment to service delivery
and consistency. This year’s Service
Campaign song – ‘Service with a
Touch’ to the tune of ‘YMCA’ –
has also proved very popular.
Dairy Farm Singapore Senior Management take the first step towards making their service pledge.
As part of the campaign, head office
team members are encouraged to
visit Dairy Farm Singapore stores
each month in order to give feedback
Bermuda Gallery Named After Harry Wilken
A new gallery in Bermuda has been
named after the late Harry Wilken,
former Company Secretary of Jardine
Matheson Holdings.
The Harry Wilken Gallery is one
of ten galleries in the recently
renovated Queen’s Exhibition Hall at
the National Museum of Bermuda.

The galleries form part of a
new permanent exhibit entitled
‘Shipwreck Bermuda’, which depicts
the 400 years of settlement of
Bermuda and the important role
the island has played in Atlantic
trade. The items in the Harry
Wilken Gallery comprise a variety
of artifacts, including some with a
Chinese connection.
Mr Wilken, who died in early 2010,
played an important role in the local
community in Bermuda. He was a
great supporter of the Museum and
donated his collection of military
pictures to it. The dedication of
the gallery was attended by His
Excellency the Governor, George
Fergusson, and by Mr Wilken’s
widow, Eileen.
