Bath installation profile<br />

The <strong>BTI</strong> bath installation profile is a foamed PE tape that is self-adhesive<br />

g The tape is fluted in the middle and has an extra<br />

perforation<br />

g Is used during installation to avoid the<br />

transmission of noises (when filling the bath)<br />

between the bath and the wall<br />

g The tap also protects the bath from scratches<br />

during tile work<br />

Material:<br />

closed-cell PE foam, Self-adhesive on one side with<br />

very high resistance to chemicals<br />

Processing instructions:<br />

The tape is glued to the bath on one side. The second<br />

side is flipped over so that it lies horizontally on the<br />

bath. The protective strip is separated after the tile<br />

work. The resulting flute between the tile and the bath<br />

is joined permanently elastic with <strong>BTI</strong> sanitary sealant.<br />

The joint remains permanently elastic as threeflank<br />

bonding is avoided. The bath is correctly and<br />

professionally installed with respect to noise-insulation<br />
