The degree has three main components:

Normally no more than 12 of the units studied should be at the

Equips students for a career in information services as a librarian,
knowledge manager or information worker. It prepares graduates
of this major for roles within government organisations, corporate
library and information services, or the information systems field
by exploring key areas associated with information systems.
Additonal Major Information
Library technicians, graduates of the Associate Degree of
Science (Library Technology) (course M73) and the Bachelor of
Science (Library Technology) (course E65), wishing to enter the
Information Services major may be eligible for advanced standing.
