The course provides students with coherent knowledge of
the performing arts underpinned by core performance and
management skills necessary to gain professional employment
as a contemporary arts practitioner. It combines theory and
technical knowledge with the opportunity for students to focus
on a particular discipline or area of practice in the third year.
Students will learn to develop independent thinking, with practical
elements providing opportunities for self-directed learning and
work individually and as part of a cohesive team.

Admission Requirements: Audition. Students will be assessed on
their ability to meet the technical requirements of the course
and their suitability for the industry. The audition will include a
thorough assessment of various skills in the performing arts.
Applicants with relevant and extensive industry experience will be
considered for application.
CourSe StruCture
Requires the completion of 24 units / 360 credit points.
y Core Program – 4 Foundation Units and 4 Special Skills Units
y Major – 8 units
y Supplementary Program – 8 units, from one of the
following options:
− 4 Minor Units plus 4 Electives, or
