THE <strong>CIA</strong> AGAINST LATIN AMERICANo, nobody should have knownBut, come on, tell me something, nobody reacted, nobody toldthem frontally “what you are doing is not fair, is not credible”, wasnever a voice reaching up in the country saying “what you are doing isgiving a coup”?No, what we did was to carry out a series of actions and operationscontinually trying to denigrate the Cuban revolution, denigrate thosewho supported Cuba there in <strong>Ecuador</strong>, always emphasizing the threatthat Cuba could recur in <strong>Ecuador</strong>.Do you realize the level of contacts that the <strong>CIA</strong> handled at thattime?
