OBSERVATORY AND MARKET INFORMATION SYSTEM IN
BUI DIVISION;
Introduction
In continuation of the analysis of roots and tubers sector and
putting into place the market information system and national
observatory we went on mission to Bui Division.
Objective
The objective was to meet the traders, transporters, public
actors etc who intervene in the marketing actors of roots and tubers
so as to understand the actual situation of marketing of roots and
tubers.
Methodology
- visited Kumbo and Oku markets
- Held discussion with traders, middleman and loaders.
- Held discussion with secretary of BIPFU
- Met with staff of MINADER, BUI
- Discussed with mayor of Kumbo Urban Council Mr. Njong
Donatus
- Met and discussed with owners of trucks.
