The length of time it takes to recharge itdepends on the condition of the battery. When the instrument is in operation therecharging process is slower. If they are very low the recharging period is about5 hours. The CHARGER [4] indicator should remain lit.When the battery charging process is completed with the instrument off, the fanstops.IMPORTANTThe instrument battery needs to be kept charged between 30% and 50% of itscapacity when not in use. The battery needs to be fully charged for best results. Afully charged battery suffers temperature-related discharge. For example, at a roomtemperature of 20 °C, it can lose up to 10% of its charge over 12 months.3.2 Installation and Start-upThe TV EXPLORER HD + level meter is designed for use as a portable device.Therefore does not require installationWhen the rotary selector [1] is pressed for more than two seconds, theinstrument is started up in the automatic power-off mode; that is, the device isautomatically disconnected after the selected minutes if no key has been pressed. Whenthe device is operating, it is also possible to select the auto power-off mode by means[22] and to select the time out until the automatic power-of the Preferences menuoff.When the equipment is going to be moved, activate the Transport mode bymeans of the Preferences menu [22] to disable the power on process until onespecific key from main keyboard is pressed [8] as is it indicated on screen.Page 14 01/2011
