Trouble-shooting listFault Cause RectificationGas operation• No control lamp lightsup when the system isswitched on (winter andsummer mode).• The green indicator lampcomes on when the equipmentis switched on, butthe heater is not operating.• The red monitor lamp flashesafter the heating systemhas been switched on.• About 30 seconds after theheating has been switchedon, the red monitor lamplights up and remainssteady.• Heating switches to faultmode after an extendedperiod of operation.Electricaloperation 230 V• The green indicator lampon the control panel illuminateswhen the unit isswitched on, the yellow indicatorlamp on the powerselector switch does notilluminate and the heatingdoes not become warm.– No supply voltage.– Device fuse or vehicle fusedefective.– The temperature setting onthe control panel is lowerthan the room temperature.– Open window above cowl(window switch).– Battery voltage is too low< 10.5 V.– Gas cylinder or quick-closurevalve in the gas line isclosed.– Air feed interrupted.– Hot-air outlets blocked.– Gas pressure regulatoriced up.– Butane content in the gascylinder too high.– No supply voltage.– Device fuse defective.– Overheating switch hastriggered.– Check battery voltage (12 V).– Check all electrical plug connections.– Check device fuse (see Maintenance).– Check vehicle fuse.– Select higher room temperature at the control panel.– Close window.– Charge battery.– Check gas feed.– Check cowl for possible coverage.– If being used on boats, open the deck cowl.– Check individual outlet apertures.– Use de-icing system controller (EisEx).– Use propane (at temperatures below 10°C in particular,butane is unsuitable for heating purposes).– Check 230 V supply voltage and fuses.– Check device fuse (see Maintenance).– Reset overheating switch (see Maintenance).Water supply• When the heating systemis switched off, the electricalsafety/drain valveopens.– The valve remains openeven after the heatinghas been switched on.• The electrical safety/drainvalve will no longer close.– The valve remains openeven after the heatinghas been switched on.• Water dripping from theelectrical safety/drain valve.– Outside temperature below4°C.– No 12 V power supply atthe drain valve.– Outside temperature below8°C.– No 12 V power supply atthe drain valve.– Water pressure too high.– Switch the heating on (at temperatures of about 4°C andbelow the drain valve will open automatically).– Check 12 V supply voltage and fuses.– Switch the heating on (without heating operation, the drainvalve will not close again until temperatures above 8°C havebeen reached).– Check 12 V supply voltage and fuses.– Check pump pressure (max. 2.8 bar).If connected to a central water supply (rural or urbanconnection), a pressure reducer must be used, which willprevent pressures higher than 2.8 bar entering the boiler.If these measures do not lead to the rectification of the fault, in principle we would ask you to contactTruma After-Sales Service.15
