Thewater temperature can be setto 40°C or 60°C.For gas operation the deviceautomatically selectsthe smallest burner settingat 2000 W. The water temperatureis controlled by theautomatic controller, whichis powered by 12 V from thevehicle battery.Depending on the fuse protectionat the camping site,power of 900 W (3.9 A) or1800 W (7.8 A) can be manuallyselected for electricaloperation.Mixed operation(simultaneous gas andelectricity) is not possible.With this setting the deviceautomatically selects electricaloperation at the selectedpower of 900 W or 1800 W.The gas burner is not enabled.Winter mode(heat and hot water)All 3 energy selection optionscan be used for winter deployment.With gas operation thedevice automatically selectsthe burner setting that is required(2000 W, 4000 W orup to 6000 W) depending onthe output requirement (calculatedfrom difference betweenselected temperatureand current room temperature).The circulation fan thatis needed to distribute thewarm air and the automaticroom temperature and safetymonitoring controller arepowered by the vehiclebattery (12 V).Depending on the fuse protectionat the camping site,power of 900 W (3.9 A) or1800 W (7.8 A) can be manuallypreselected for electricaloperation.If the power requirementis higher (e.g.heating up or low outsidetemperatures) gas operationor mixed operation must beselected, since the 230 Velectrical heater is only a secondaryheater with maximumheating power of 1800 W.In mixed operation the fullheating power of 7800 W(6000 W gas + 1800 Welectricity) is available. Thiscombination guaranteesrapid heat-up times, even atextremely low outside temperatures.The heating powerthat is required (calculatedfrom difference betweenselected temperature andcurrent room temperature)is selected automatically bythe unit. If the power requirementis low (e.g. for maintainingroom temperature),230 V electrical operation isgiven priority. The gas burneris not enabled until the powerrequirement is higher, and isthe first to switch off duringheat-up operations.Heating is alwayspossible in all operatingmodes (gas, electricand mixed operation) withoutrestrictions, with orwithout water.9
