Antananarivo a été encore une fois de plus le<br />

carrefour culturel de la Grande Ile durant le Carnaval<br />

de Madagascar s’étant tenu du 16 au 18 juin. Cette<br />

édition <strong>2017</strong> visait justement à faire la promotion<br />

de la destination en faisant découvrir aux visiteurs<br />

la culture malgache. Les participants venant des 22 régions de<br />

Madagascar ont mis en avant<br />

leur culture et leurs traditions<br />

<strong>res</strong>pectives. Cette diversité<br />

constitue en effet la richesse<br />

de la culture malgache. Les<br />

visiteurs ont pu découvrir durant<br />

les trois jours de manifestation<br />

les modes de vie des ethnies<br />

malgaches et leur gastronomie.<br />

Sur les stands d’expositions, les<br />

amateurs d’objets souvenirs ont<br />

pu combler leur bonheur.<br />

Le grand carnaval qui s’était<br />

déroulé le long de l’Avenue de<br />

l’Indépendance a aussi tenu<br />

toutes ses promesses. Les<br />

observateurs ont eu droit à de<br />

véritables spectacles hautement<br />

colorés. Ceux qui aiment faire la<br />

fête ont été servis par les 1000<br />

musiciens et danseurs chargés<br />

de chauffer l’ambiance.<br />

during the carnival<br />

of Madagascar, held<br />

from June 16th to 18th. This <strong>2017</strong><br />

edition indeed aimed to promote the<br />

Great Island by displaying the Malagasy culture to visitors.<br />

All participants from the 22 regions of Madagascar have put<br />

forward their <strong>res</strong>pective culture and traditions. This diversity<br />

promotes the Malagasy culture’s treasu<strong>res</strong>. During the threeday<br />

show, visitors were able to discover the Malagasy peoples’<br />

lifestyle and gastronomy. On the exhibition stands, lovers<br />

of souvenir items could be filled up with<br />

happiness.<br />

The big carnival which<br />

has been held along the<br />

Independence Avenue kept<br />

all its promises as well.<br />

Observers have had the<br />

chance to attend some<br />

genuine and highly<br />

colorful shows. Party<br />

lovers have also been<br />

well served with some<br />

1000 musicians and<br />

dancers to warm up<br />

the atmosphere.<br />
