What inspired you most photographically about
the country?
I was impressed and moved by the baobabs. These
UNESCO landmarks are one of the oldest endemic
trees in the world. They are a testimony of our
history, our present and our future. On another
side of the island (Diego Suarez), you can visit
the Tsingys, which is a stone formation of red
laterite formed by erosion. These landscapes are
breathtaking.

Why do you think travellers (and photographers)
should come to Madagascar?
The warm welcome of the population and its
unusual landscapes are the reasons why you should
visit Madagascar.

Les baobabs et les Tsingys rouges sont
définitivement mes paysages préférés. Vous vous
sentez tout petit et l'envie de les protéger est
omniprésente.

Madagascar and tell us why you like them?
The baobabs and the red Tsingys are definitely my
favourites. They do make you feel small and the urge
to protect them is omnipresent.

je me suis rendue aux
Tsingys rouges à Diego
Suarez, des formations de
pierres de latérite rouge
créées par l'érosion. Ces
paysages sont à couper le
souffle !
