La région Sud de Madagascar connaît un climat
semi-aride avec une température annuelle
moyenne de 24°C. La réserve spéciale de Bezà
Mahafaly accueille les visiteurs toute l’année de
07h à 16h.
The south of Madagascar has a semi-arid climate,
with an average annual temperature of 24°C.
The special reserve of Bezà Mahafaly welcomes
visitors all year round from 7am to 4pm.
Comment s’y rendre? / How to get there?
Beza Mahafaly se trouve dans la province
de Toliara dans la commune rurale
d’Ankazombalala. Prenez un vol régulier de la
Compagnie Air Madagascar / Tsaradia pour
Toliara puis emprunter une voiture jusqu’à la
réserve. Une autre possibilité est d’emprunter
la RN7 jusqu’à Andranovory, puis de prendre la
RN10 et enfin de suivre la route de Beavoha.
Beza Mahafaly is situated in the province of
Toliara, in the rural district of Ankazombalala.
Take a regular Air Madagascar / Tsaradia flight
to Toliara, then go by road as far as the reserve.
Alternatively, you can take the RN7 as far as
Andranovory, then the RN10 and finally the road
to Beavoha.
Où se loger? / Where to stay?
Le site dispose d'infrastructures avec eau et
électricité pour accueillir les touristes. Des
aires de camping accueillent 18 personnes
par jour. Renseignez-vous au préalable au
bureau de Madagascar National Parks à
Betioky sud. Vous pouvez également dormir
dans des établissements à Betioky sud : Hôtel
Tsaramandroso, Hôtel Mahasoa, Chez Odette,
Chez Paula, One Love.
The site has infrastructures, with water and
electricity, to welcome tourists. There are
campsites that can accommodate 18 people each
day. You can obtain further information from the
office of Madagascar National Parks in Betioky
sud. You can also stay at one of the hotels in
Betioky sud: the Hotel Tsaramandroso, the Hotel
Mahasoa, Chez Odette, Chez Paula or One Love.

Vous avez le possibilité de manger dans
l’enceinte de la réserve, le site mettant à votre
disposition une cuisine. Il vous suffit de réserver
au bureau de MNP.
The reserve provides a cooking structure, so you
can eat on the spot. You simply book at the MNP
office.
Que voir? / What to see?
Outre la découverte d’espèces animales et
végétales sur le site, le circuit culturel inclut
la visite du musée d’exposition d’objets d’art
(sculpture, ustensiles quotidiens des Mahafaly).
Ceci vous permettra de mieux connaître
la culture de cette ethnie du Sud-Ouest de
Madagascar.
In addition to discovering the site’s animal and
plant species, the cultural circuit includes a visit
of a museum exhibiting artefacts (sculpture,
cooking utensils of the Mahafaly people). This
will enable you to get to know this ethnic group
of the south-west of Madagascar.
