Die mechanischen Eigenschaften der SWT-
Langprodukte können durch gezielte Wärme
führung während des Walzprozesses beein
flusst und verbessert werden. Die im SWT
produzierten Güten zeichnen sich aufgrund
eines niedrigen Kohlenstoffäquivalentes
durch eine gute Schweißbarkeit aus, so dass
sie sich unter Beachtung der schweißtechnischen
Regeln ohne Schwierigkeiten fügen
sowie flammrichten lassen. Wie auch bei
anderen Baustählen muss darauf geachtet
werden, dass die Flammrichttemperatur
bestimmte Höchstwerte nicht überschreitet.
Eigenspan nungen in den Walzprofilen können
durch Spannungs armglühen abgebaut
werden, wobei jedoch ein Verzug der Profile
möglich ist. Dies erfolgt nach den Richtlinien
für die Verarbeitung unter Einhaltung der
üblichen Parameter bezüglich Temperaturbereich
und Haltedauer. Eine Weiterverarbeitung
durch Warmumformen, in der Praxis bei
Lang produkten ohnehin nicht üblich, ist nicht
erlaubt.
Stahlgüten für
Offshoreanwendungen
Die Offshore-Güten nach EN 10225:2009 sind
hochfeste Feinkornbaustähle mit einem niedrigen
Legierungsgehalt, die in Kombination
mit hoher Streckgrenze, exzellenter Zähigkeit
und ausgezeichneter Schweißbarkeit für
Anwendungen im Offshore-Bereich geeignet
sind.
Die Tabellen 6 und 7 beinhalten die verfügbaren
Offshore-Güten sowie deren mechanische
Eigenschaften und chemische Zusammensetzungen.
Sondergüten
Wetterfeste Stähle nach EN 10025-5:2004
können auf Anfrage geliefert werden. Die
nach dieser Norm verfügbaren Güten sind in
Tabellen 8 und 9 zusammengefasst.
Stahlgüten gemäß Sonderspezifikation
(che mi sche Zusammensetzung und me-
chani sche Eigenschaften), wie zum Beispiel
warmfester Stahl (16Mo3), sind nach
Vereinbarung lieferbar und unterliegen Mindestbestellmengen.
The mechanical characteristics of SWT
sections are influenced and improved by
precise control of the temperature during
the rolling process. Grades being produced
at SWT are characterised by a good weldability
due to a lower carbon equivalent. Considering
the common welding standards
they can be welded and flame straightened
without difficulties. Similar to conventional
structural steels, they can be flame straightened
provided specific maximum temperatures
are not exceeded. Residual stresses
within the sections can be eliminated by
stress relieving however a deformation of
the bars may occur. The usual parameters
concerning temperature range and heating
time according to the rules of practice must
be applied. Hot forming, which is however
uncommon for the fabrication of sections,
must not be performed.
Steel grades for
offshore applications
Offshore grades according to EN 10225:2009
are structural steel grades with a low alloy
content, combining high strength, good
toughness and superior weldability for applications
in the offshore sector.
Tables 6 and 7 show the available offshore
grades as well as the mechanical characteristics
and chemical compositions.
Special steel qualities
Weathering steels in accordance with EN
10025-5:2004 can be delivered upon request.
Grades according to this standard are
summarized in tables 8 and 9.
Steel grades according to particular specifications
(chemical composition and mechanical
properties) such as for example
warm-rolled steel (16Mo3) are subject to
prior approval and minimum tonnages to be
agreed on.
