INFORMATION
The bibliography presents a complete survey on Hungarian literature covering agriculture, food industry and forestry.
The papers printed in Hungarian publications are processed, independently of the Hungarian or foreign nationality of
the authors.
The books and annuals are reviewed from compulsory copies, the dissertations and publications of institutes from
reports received. The bibliography covers all Hungarian periodicals treating agriculture, food industry, wood industry
and forestry, further the papers printed in other publications on food economy.
According to the agreement concluded with the Széchényi National Library, the Hungarian Agricultural Bibliography
is a current national bibliography from the year 1981 on. Consequently, Hungarian literature on agriculture, food
industry and forestry is bibliographically reviewed only in this publication. In the Hungarian National Bibliography
these items are omitted.
In the interest of better orientation in the Hungarian special literature we make use of opportunities of the computer
technology.
The Database is accessible from the homepage of the National Agricultural Library in the ALEPH system. The
publications can be ordered on CD or in printed form too.
