Responsibility to our community
We recognize that we are an important economic player in the
communities where we operate. In addition to this understanding,
we have been trying for several years to increase the awareness
that we are also a social player. Our primary commitment
is to make a profi t, ensure safety in the workplace, prevent risks
and guarantee the quality of our products. But we do not believe
that we are extraneous to the social life around us. Sports and
cultural events, participation in humanitarian organizations and
the promotion of scientifi c research are important to us as men
and women. These are interests that go beyond our dedication to
and passion for our work; they are part of our daily life and free
time.
We sponsor, join and participate in community initiatives in the
places we are based. RadiciGroup is made up of people who live
in the places where they work. Our commitment to these endeavours
comes almost naturally. Nevertheless we realize that
dedication and passion sometimes is not enough. Scientifi c research,
sport and culture need funds for laboratories, equipment,

organizing and holding public events. In recent years our giving
has been constant, but we hope to do better in the future.
As in the past, our greatest commitment this year was to sport.
We sponsored skiing, swimming, cycling and rugby. Sport is a
demanding and exciting challenge. You need intelligence, tactics
and good physical condition. Not to mention good sportsmanship,
diligence and commitment. These are also the values we
attach so much importance to at work and in life.
Culture and education are two of the essential needs of a living,
inquisitive, dynamic community. We are passionate about
the art, history, museums, local events and training programmes
of all the places where we operate. Our commitment to health
and humanitarian endeavours springs from the fact that we care
about the places where we work and the communities where we
live. We support hospitals, rest homes, foundations, private organizations
and charities. A tangible contribution for everyone
close to our hearts.
