Let us end this interesting exchange of ideas

part;thenexteditionoftheevent,tobeheld
in Verona from the 21st to the 24th of June,
2017,willbeheavilyorientedtowards
foundries, die casting, productive digitalization
and the 4.0 model of industry and foundry.
Regarding this theme, the realization of a
working model of a productive cell within the
fairgrounds is being envisaged, in order
to illustrate the concrete importance
of automation in the manufacturing of
automotive components made using foundry
casts.WhatdoyouthinkaboutMetefandhow
do you judge this type of initiative?
The success of the die casting industry, considered as
an integrated system, from the production of machines
and plants to the end products, depends upon the efforts
to increase the possible uses of aluminium casts
and semis; the role of an international event such as
Metef, which is a container of ideas and suggestions
useful in the quest for process optimization and competitive
production, is very important, indeed essential
considering the competitive and often unfair threats
that arrive from various parts of the world, in order to
ensure a growing penetration of markets. We, as a company,
also share with Metef the same corporate objective;
actually, both in Fonderie Cervati’s description as
well as in Metef’s, the concept of “Customized technology
for the aluminium, foundry castings and innovative
metal industry” is clearly underlined; this means
that, to say the least, in the basic setup we follow similar
pathways. We therefore strongly support this Italian
exhibition for the global market, dedicated to a sector
whichmakesupadrivingelementoftheeconomyofa
large part of Italy’s industry; it is a shared desire that
this process may continue, I therefore hope that the
entire Italian foundry system will agree with this standpoint
that certainly strengthens us in the international
context.
Regarding contents, I expect to find at Metef suggestions
on the scenarios so as to interpret the economic
growth of our industrial sector. Metef’s success is also
the clear sign that the foundry system is mature, wants
to grow, to discuss and to become a system, and feels
theneedforsharedcommunicationinordertoincrease
its penetration of global markets.

Il successo dell’industria della pressocolata intesa come un

finali,dipendedaglisforziperampliare
le possibilità di utilizzazione dei getti e dei semilavorati
di alluminio; molto opportuno, se non indispensabile
perleminacciecompetitiveespessoscorrettecheciarrivano
da varie parti del mondo, il ruolo di un evento internazionale
come Metef che è un contenitore di idee e di
suggerimenti per ricercare l’ottimizzazione dei processi e
la competitività produttiva, per una crescente penetrazione
sui mercati. Noi come azienda condividiamo tra l’altro
con Metef l’obiettivo di impresa, infatti sia nella descrizione
delleFonderieCervaticheinquellodiMetefèchiaramente
sottolineato il concetto di “Customized technology for
the aluminium, foundry castings and innovative metal industry”,questosignificacheperlomenonell’impostazionedi
base seguiamo percorsi analoghi. Forte sostegno pertanto
aquestaesposizioneitalianaperilmercatoglobale,dedicataadun’industriachehacostituitounelementoportante
dell’economia di gran parte dell’Italia industriale, è desiderio
comune che questo percorso vada avanti, mi auguro
quindi che tutto il sistema italiano della fonderia condividaquestaposizionechecirafforzasenz’altronelcontesto
internazionale. Riguardo ai contenuti, mi aspetto di raccogliere
da Metef le indicazioni sugli scenari per poter interpretarelacrescitaeconomicadell’industriadelnostro
settore.
Il successo di Metef è anche il chiaro segnale che il
sistema della fonderia è maturo, ha voglia di crescere e di
confrontarsi,difaresistema,esentel’esigenzadifarecomunicazione
condivisa per una crescente penetrazione sui
