Mille Miglia is above all a story to evoke magic and memories.<br />
Travel, in the space of one night, with the cheapest time machine<br />
that exists - dreams.<br />
The legend of the Freccia Rossa still lives today by virtue of its<br />
evocative ability. After the collective drunkenness of the eighties<br />
and the “fashion” of vintage cars exhibited like a fur, the space to<br />
dedicate to pure passion has returned. And pure passion, when<br />
it finds concretization in the emuli of “Nivola” and the heroes of<br />
the steering wheel, has in itself the ability to generate dreams.<br />
Illusions, just like those sweet chimeras that an old song with the<br />
flavor of distant times evoked.<br />
The real Mille Miglia, a bit like the first James Bond, has entered<br />
the genetic heritage of Italians. There is all the great heart,<br />
beating to the rhythm of connecting rods balanced by ear and<br />
red-hot pistons, of dawning Italy, daughter of the immediate<br />
post-war and of the victory over the central empires, recently<br />
landed to the pride of nation, in those cars that tear on the Futa<br />
and the Raticosa.<br />
We are in 1927, the magical year of the birth of the Freccia Rossa<br />
and the daredevils of the steering wheel capture the romantic<br />
dreams of beautiful girls and peasants, of doubtful old people,<br />
and youngsters exalted by the youth itself.<br />
The Mille Miglia runs on the white roads of the peninsula and<br />
carries with it the names of the biggest one, first of all the “flying<br />
Mantuan”, with his legendary performance, that way of driving<br />
at times, unmistakable, nervous. He wins, he wins, he wins again.<br />
And he celebrates that triumph of synthesis and movement that<br />
is so deeply rooted and witnessed in futurist painting and posters,<br />
which recite trains and cars and planes that speed. The thousand<br />
possibilities of the technique find their natural location in the<br />
