KviklienėSummaryThere was evaluated efficiency of herbicide Klinik Plus (v. m. glyphosate ir 2.4-D) fordestruction of dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds in apple orchard areas under treesat LRCAF, Institute of Horticulture in 2010–2011. There were investigated three rates of herbicideKlinik Plus: 4; 5 and 6.0 l ha -1 ; standard herbicide – Roundup Classic 360 g/l (4.0 l ha -1 ).3 weeks after spraying with herbicide total weed amount significantly decreased, butherbicide Klinik Plus was the most effective (91–92 %) when its rates were 5 and 6 l ha -1 .2 months after spraying efficiency of herbicide Klinik Plus destroying dicotyledonous weedsreached 64–71 %. Herbicide didn’t influence significantly monocotyledonous weeds, becausemany new weeds sprouted, but their amount was very decreased by the biggest rate of KlinikPlus. Herbicide Klinik Plus significantly decreased total weed amount when rates were 5 and6 l ha -1 . Their efficiency reached correspondingly 70.1 and 65.5 %. Spraying herbicides phytotoxicityon apple trees wasn’t observed.Key words: apple trees, dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds, herbicides.27
