FFP e LIPOR cooperam
A LIPOR – Serviço Intermunicipalizado de Gestão de Resíduos
do Grande Porto e a Fundação Fernando Pessoa (FFP) assinaram
um protocolo de Cooperação.
Com este protocolo, a LIPOR, entidade responsável pela gestão,
valorização e tratamento dos resíduos sólidos urbanos
produzidos pelos Municípios associados: Espinho, Gondomar,
Maia, Matosinhos, Porto, Póvoa de Varzim, Valongo e Vila do
Conde, que trata anualmente cerca de 500 mil toneladas de
resíduos sólidos produzidos por 1 milhão de habitantes, cooperará
no Projecto Ambulatório de Ambiente e Saúde (PAAS),
através do apoio à organização do sistema de recolha dos resíduos
produzidos na Universidade Fernando Pessoa.
Por seu lado, a FFP colaborará através do Projecto Ambulatório
de Saúde Oral e Pública (PASOP), que realizará, anualmente,
aos colaboradores da LIPOR, rastreios em diferentes valências:
Análises Clínicas, Osteoporose, Medicina Dentária e Controlo
da Tensão Arterial.
Câmara Municipal da Nazaré
assina protocolo com a UFP
A 23 de Outubro de 2010, foi assinado um Protocolo entre a Câmara
Municipal da Nazaré e a Universidade Fernando Pessoa.
O Observatório de Políticas Públicas e Território (OPPTerr)
da UFP iniciou em 2010 e irá continuar no presente ano, um
projecto de investigação intitulado “Paisagem, Património e
Território no Concelho da Nazaré”. Este projecto visa definir um

LIPOR, the waste management service of Greater Porto, signed
a cooperation agreement with the Fernando Pessoa Foundation
(FFP).
Under this agreement, LIPOR, the entity responsible for managing,
recycling and treating solid urban waste produced in the following
municipalities: Espinho, Gondomar, Maia, Matosinhos, Porto,
Póvoa de Varzim, Valongo and Vila do Conde, which treats around
500,000 tonnes of solid waste each year, produced by 1 million
residents, will collaborate in the Mobile Environment and Health
Project (PAAS), through the organisation’s support of the waste
collection system for University Fernando Pessoa.
FFP’s role will include collaboration through the Oral and Public
Health Ambulant Project (PASOP), which will involve sampling by
the LIPOR staff each year on different fields: Clinical Analysis, Osteoporosis,
Dental Medicine and Blood Pressure Control.
Municipality of Nazaré signs
agreement with UFP
On 23 October 2010 an Agreement was signed between the Municipal
Council of Nazaré and University Fernando Pessoa.
The UFP Observatory of Public Policies and Territory (OPPTerr) be-
gan in 2010 and will continue in 2011 a research project entitled
“Landscape, Heritage and Territory in the Municipality of Nazaré”.
