CHANGES IN COPYRIGHT LAWS AND NEW
TECHNOLOGIES
ABSTRACT
In the context of the so-called “free culture”, which
has emerged with the appearance of Internet and the
growing use of Information Technology (IT) in society,
laws regulating intellectual property are confronted
with the need to adapt to changes imposed by the new
ways of production, broadcasting and circulation of
creation, brought by the new technologies. This paper
intends to ponder over these changes, in order to
outline a panorama that can serve as a starting point
for coming debates on copyright laws.
