trabalhados em 2016, otimizando os custos dos estoques.
E todas as empresas estão buscando novos mercados, seja
interno ou com foco na exportação.
A falta de incentivos fiscais e a alta carga tributária
são a reclamação da maioria das empresas que passam
por dificuldades no atual momento. Com o governo
atual cortando gastos onde pode, acredita que o setor
industrial será olhado com bons olhos em 2017?
Não há como retomar o crescimento do país sem estimular
a produção industrial e o consumo, nos próximos
anos. Mesmo assim, somos um dos países com a maior
carga tributária do mundo e sofremos constantes ameaças
de novos tributos ou a majoração dos existentes. O
setor industrial, na maior parte das vezes, é quem paga
a conta da ineficiência pública. Precisamos de um plano
de crescimento para os próximos anos, que seja levado a
sério e respeitado.
Quais as ações do polo de Arapongas para ficar por
dentro das tendências mundiais? Existe algum tipo de
excursão de profissionais para feiras internacionais?
Hoje em dia, as tendências e novas tecnologias chegam
muito rápido ao mercado brasileiro. Por isso, as feiras nacionais
têm sido uma fonte importante de conhecimento
e atualização para as empresas. Mesmo assim, o Sima
também estimula a participação das empresas em feiras
internacionais, orientando os seus associados que desejam
participar desses eventos, e também promovendo
caravanas.

How does Sima see the trade fairs that occurred this
year, such as Formóbile, which was reduced in size, but
the general consensus was of a certain optimism for the
coming months?
The trade fair segment, like all others, has felt the impact
of the crisis. Even in a bit smaller format, furniture and supplier
trade fairs have seen good results with positive expectations
for the market.
Within the context of a sharp recession, much is said
about cutting costs. Rather than lay off employees, what
can be done within companies to avoid a larger unemployment
picture in the Municipality?
Starting last year, companies in the manufacturing center
have made a great effort to reduce their costs and expenses,
including payroll reductions. Setting appropriate production
volume levels as to demand is one of the main points in
2016, leading to optimized inventory costs. And every company
is seeking out new markets, whether domestic or with
a focus on exporting.
The lack of tax incentives and the high tax burden are
the complaint of most companies that are going through
difficulties at the current time. With the current Government
cutting spending where they can, do you believe
that the Industrial Sector will be looked at favorably in
2017?
No, there's no way for the Country to return to economic
growth without stimulating industrial production and consumption
in the coming years. Still, we are one of the countries
with the highest tax burden in the world and suffer the
constant threat of new taxes or increases in existing ones.
The Industrial Sector, for the most part, is who is paying for
public inefficiency. We need a growth plan for the next few
years that is taken seriously and respected.
What actions are being taken by the Arapongas manufacturing
center to stay on top of world trends? Are you
organizing some sort of trade missions to attend international
fairs?
Nowadays, the trends and new technologies arrive very
quickly in Brazil. Therefore, national fairs have been an important
source of knowledge and updating for businesses.
Even so, Sima also stimulates the participation of companies
in international fairs, helping its members wishing to attend
these events, and also promoting trade missions.
