MAVERICK CLUBE
Toda paixão pelo modelo Maverick fez com que André
ajudasse a fundar o Maverick Clube de Curitiba, do
qual se despediu da presidência em 2017. Fundado em 4
de dezembro de 1999, o Clube comemorou ano passado,
18 anos de história. “Reunimos em torno de 130 Mavericks
batendo o nosso próprio recorde. Foram mais de
600 pessoas que passaram pelo evento e que puderam
mostrar os seus bólidos, de vários modelos, cores, características
e personalidades diferentes”, conta André.

Time passed, André returned with his family to Curitiba
and followed this by attending meetings of Maverick
aficionados, but felt that there was still something
missing to fullfil his desire.
In 2012, a 74, 4-door, 6-cylinder Maverick Super
joined the family. It came from a single owner with the
original receipt, manual and the documentation for
every year. Despite the need to be restored, the car
had a family history, much in line with André’s and the
conditions matched his purchasing power at the time.
“Recently, this car had undergone a partial
restoration and is running very well equal to the other
3 Mavericks in the family. And it is the most used at
the moment. It doesn’t matter if the engine has 4, 6
or 8 cylinders, what matters is the story behind every
Maverick, the nostalgia of the people when we drive
through the streets, the interest of others to help out on
the road when an unforeseen breakdown occurs, where
it is just like a coming together for a family dinner,” he
values.
MAVERICK CLUB
All this passion for the Maverick led André to help
found the Maverick Club of Curitiba, in which he left
the Presidency in 2017. It was founded on December
4, 1999, and last year the Club celebrated its 18-year
history. “It was a gathering of around 130 Mavericks,
beating our own previous record. There were more than
600 people who visited the event and showed off their
interest, various models, colors, features and different
personalities,” says André.
