CLINICAL AND PARACLINICAL ASPeCTS OF
THe OLIGOARTHRITIS FORM OF THe JUVe-
NILe CHRONIC ARTHRITIS (JCA)
The goal of this research was to determine clinical and
paraclinical aspects of oligo-arthritis form of the Juvenile
Chronic Arthritis (JCA). 207 children, passing the JCA criteria
(mean age of 134,6 + 51,9 months), were included in
the research. In accordance with the questions of the special
protocol, the following specifics of oligoarthritis form of
JCA were analyzed: debut age, gender ratio, specifics of the
joint syndrome, disease activity score according to the DAS
index. As a result of the research, it was determined that
the oligoarthritis form of JCA most often appears initially
before the age of 5, strikes boys and girls equally often
(G/B=1,1/1,0), and that the pathologic process affects the
knee joint at a higher degree. In 82,1% of the cases it also
damages the eyesight. It is important to note, that uveitis is
found in 79,5% of cases among girls.
