The number of people identified as carrying Covid-19
worldwide has increased to 126,258. While 80 thousand 932
of these are located in China, 12 thousand 462 of them are in
Italy, 9 thousand of them are in Iran, 7 thousand 869 of them
are in South Korea, 2 thousand 284 of them are in France
and 2 thousand 277 of them. It’s located in Spain. In Turkey,
the virus was declared a pandemic by the World Health
Organization the then seen in a patient and citizens flocked
to e-commerce sites.
Cenk Çiğdem, Member of TOBB E-commerce Assembly and
Founder of Ticimax E-commerce Systems, said: “The panic
caused by the Corona virus, which was declared a pandemic
by the World Health Organization, caused an extraordinary
activity in internet shopping. There is a density that we have
never seen before in websites that sell food for 2 days, websites of
cologne brands, hygiene products and e-commerce sites selling
medical products. The sites especially state that they cannot
reach the dry food and cologne orders. There was even a revival
in e-commerce sites that sell textiles. We can interpret this as
the citizens who are afraid to go to the shopping malls direct
their shopping channels online. Some items seem to have grown
up to 300 percent in sales volume. Unfortunately, in such cases,
opportunists also want to sell the products at higher prices than
their normal prices. It would be more correct for citizens to
make a purchase decision by making a price comparison.”
Dünya genelinde Covid-19 taşıdığı belirlenen kişi sayısı 126
bin 258’e çıktı. Bunların 80 bin 932’si Çin’de bulunurken 12
bin 462’si İtalya’da, 9 bini İran’da, 7 bin 869’u Güney Kore’de,
2 bin 284’ü Fransa’da, 2 bin 277’si ise İspanya’da bulunuyor.
Virüsün Türkiye’de de bir hastada görülmesi ve Dünya Sağlık
Örgütü tarafından pandemi ilan edilmesinin ardından
vatandaş e-ticaret sitelerine akın etti.

Kurucusu Cenk Çiğdemli şunları aktardı: “Dünya Sağlık
Örgütü tarafından pandemi ilan edilen Corona virüsünün yol
açtığı panik, internet alışverişlerinde sıra dışı bir hareketliliğe
yol açtı. 2 gündür gıda satışı yapan internet siteleri başta olmak
üzere, kolonya markalarının web siteleri, hijyen ürünleri ve
medikal ürün satışı yapan e-ticaret sitelerinde daha önce hiç
rastlamadığımız bir yoğunluk var. Siteler özellikle kuru gıda ve
kolonya siparişlerine yetişemediklerini aktarıyor. Hatta tekstil
satışı yapan e-ticaret sitelerinde de bir canlanma oldu. Bunu da
alışveriş merkezlerine gitmekten çekinen vatandaşların alışveriş
kanallarını online’a yönelttiği şeklinde yorumlayabiliriz. Bazı
kalemlerin satış hacminde yüzde 300’e varan büyümeler
olduğu görülüyor. Malesef böyle durumlarda ürünleri normal
fiyatından daha yüksek fiyatlara satmak isteyen fırsatçılar da
ortaya çıkıyor. Vatandaşların fiyat karşılaştırması yaparak satın
alma kararı vermesi daha doğru olacaktır.”
