Ble cannot be described as a traditional bakery in more than
one ways. Award-winning Italian architect Claudio Silvestrin
chose a minimal approach to create an impressive space with
a traditional Greek wood oven 12m in height.
Making bread is a ritual here, they use their own natural
yeast and treat the dough by hand. A generous selection of
pastries as well as savory options such as sandwiches with
handmade kneaded bread, traditional Greek pies, focaccia,
brioche, cakes, seasonal pastries and even Cretan delicacies
gives you an endless choice. You can sit both inside and on
the sunny pedestrian street outside. In addition to coffee, Blι
offers a wide range of refreshments and beverages: healthy
natural juices, hot and cold chocolate, a large selection of
teas and infusions. If you want a light snack or a regular
meal, the self-service food department offers an exquisite
Mediterranean menu with many vegetarian options.
When choosing your meal or snack, remember that Ble has developed a unique
self-service system.
You can order as much as you like from any counter and the cost will be calculated
by weight. It will be hard to choose from the tasty dishes, but at least you have variety!
Complete your meal by choosing your dessert from the tempting proposals of the
patisserie, or try Ble’s famous all-natural ice cream.
By no means does innovation stop at interior design for this bakery. The first micro
roaster coffee house in Thessaloniki is also part of Ble, serving specialized blends
and exquisite flavors.
