Pavlides S.A., situated in the heart of the peach orchards in Central
Macedonia, was estab- lished in 1992 by Mr Prodromos Pavlidis and
soon became one of the largest fruit canning companies in Greece.
In 2003 the company expanded the products range and volume through
a joint venture with ALCO (Industrias Alimenticias Mendocinas S.A.) in
Argentina, achieving to meet the needs of more clients worldwide. The
two companies ensure a cooperation that provides reliable and quality
products from both hemispheres of the globe, taking full advantage of
the contra seasonal production.
In 2007 the factory has been renovated and updated with the latest machinery,
in order to improve the efficiency of the production lines and the
quality of the products as well. Today it is considered as one of the most
modern and well equipped fruit processing factories all over the world,
producing tasty, safe and high quality canned fruits and aseptic puree.
In 2013 the company proceeded with the acquisition of Ardagh Hellas, a
developer of metal packaging solution. The new corporation under the
name of National Can Hellas aimed at growing and integrating further
our business operations and expanded the tin can production to a variety
of categories. In 2014 we acquired a new juice manufacturing unit that
raised our total capacity of fruit puree at 11.000-12.000 tons.
Specialized in the production of canned fruits (peach, apricot, pear, fruit
cocktail) & pulp (peach, apricot, apple, pears), with a production capacity
of more than 3,5 million basic cartons (24 x 29oz) and 11.500 metric tons
(concentrated juice 30-32 brix) P. PAVLIDES SA is among the leading
canners worldwide. Our ambition is not only to maintain this status but
to continually strive to improve quality and service at all levels.
The company owns a total covered production and warehouse space of
200,000 square meters and a private land of 400 hectares with mainly
peach and apricot in Mendoza province. Worldwide ex- ports exceed $
70 million and we are proud that we are accepted and appreciated in
more than fifty countries around the world, from Europe to Asia, Africa,
Australia, America Continent and Scandinavia.
