miejsce piąta konferencja<br />
z cyklu „Podatki – finanse –<br />
przedsiębiorstwo”, zorganizowana<br />
wspólnie przez Katedrę<br />
Finansów Publicznych<br />
Wydziału Finansów i Ubezpieczeń<br />
Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego<br />
w Katowicach<br />
oraz Śląski Oddział Krajowej<br />
Izby Doradców Podatkowych.<br />
Tegoroczne rozważania<br />
skoncentrowane zostały<br />
na temacie „Przedsiębiorstwo<br />
na rynku międzynarodowym<br />
a podatki”.<br />
Coroczne spotkania konferencyjne<br />
integrujące środowisko<br />
doradców podatkowych<br />
i społeczności akademickiej są<br />
efektem realizacji porozumienia<br />
o współpracy zawartego<br />
w 2013 roku między Uniwersytetem<br />
Ekonomicznym w Katowicach<br />
a Śląskim Oddziałem<br />
Krajowej Izby Doradców Podatkowych.<br />
Organizatorzy konferencji<br />
przyjęli do zrealizowania<br />
dwojakiego rodzaju cele.<br />
Pierwszy to promocja zawodu<br />
doradcy podatkowego wśród<br />
społeczności akademickiej uniwersytetu.<br />
Drugi – to wymiana<br />
poglądów na temat podatkowych<br />
problemów funkcjonowania<br />
przedsiębiorstw na rynku<br />
międzynarodowym. Takie sformułowanie<br />
celów spowodowało,<br />
że wśród grona 180 uczestników<br />
konferencji znaleźli się<br />
zarówno doradcy podatkowi,<br />
jak i pracownicy naukowi oraz<br />
studenci.<br />
An enterprise in the<br />
international market<br />
and taxes<br />
On 14 November 2017,<br />
the University of Economics<br />
in Katowice hosted the<br />
5 th conference in the series<br />
of “Taxes – Finance – Enterprise”,<br />
organized jointly<br />
by the Department of Public<br />
Finance and the Silesian<br />
Branch of the National<br />
Chamber of Tax Advisers.<br />
The discussions in this edition<br />
focused on the topic of<br />
“An enterprise in the international<br />
market and taxes”.<br />
Annual conference meetings,<br />
which result from the cooperation<br />
agreement signed<br />
between the University and<br />
the Chamber in 2013, provide<br />
an opportunity for tax advisers<br />
and the academic community<br />
to integrate. The organizers<br />
established a dual objective<br />
for the conference to pursue.<br />
First, the aim is to promote the<br />
tax adviser’s profession among<br />
the academic community. Second,<br />
the conference can be<br />
seen as a platform for sharing<br />
and exchanging ideas on tax<br />
related problems involved in<br />
an enterprise’s operations in<br />
the international market. With<br />
these two goals, the conference<br />
enjoyed the participation<br />
of 180 guests, who included<br />
tax advisers, academics and<br />
students.<br />
The conference was formally<br />
opened by Prof. Barbara Kos,<br />
Deputy Rector of the University,<br />
Prof. Andrzej Piosik,<br />
Dean of the Faculty of Finance<br />
and Insurance, Prof. Jadwiga<br />
Glumińska-Pawlic, Chairperson<br />
of the National Chamber of Tax<br />
Advisers, and Piotr Maciejewski,<br />
Deputy Board Chairman of the<br />
Silesian Branch of the National<br />
Chamber of Tax Advisers.<br />
