parking places. The parking area is monitored<br />

with sensors that detect the principle of the ultrasound<br />

presence of parked cars. Acquired data<br />

about the rate of occupied parking places are<br />

passed onto a central system. The data is<br />

processed and output in the form of information<br />

is presented on information displays and above<br />

every parking place via signal lights. These features<br />

make it easier for drivers to find a vacant<br />

parking place.<br />

data can also be used for informing them about<br />

the current utilisation through interactive traffic<br />
