zur Auto Union IAA Berlin, 1933<br />
zusammengeschlossen.<br />
Unter dem neuen Dach belegte<br />
DKW das Marktsegment der Kleinwagen mit<br />
Zweitaktmotor sowie die Motorradsparte;<br />
Wanderer stand für die Mittelklasse, <strong>Audi</strong><br />
deckte das Segment der gehobenen Mittelklasse<br />
ab, und Horch baute die Luxuswagen<br />
der Premiumklasse. Anlässlich der Internationalen<br />
Automobilausstellung in Berlin<br />
präsentierte die Auto Union im Februar<br />

and Horch and<br />
the car manufacturing<br />
division<br />
of the Wanderer<br />
Werke, to form<br />
Auto Union.<br />
Within this new overall corporate structure<br />
DKW operated in the small-car market seg-<br />
ment with its two-stroke engined models,<br />
and in the motor-cycle market; Wanderer<br />
continued to supply midsize cars, <strong>Audi</strong> ca-<br />
tered for the upper midsize segment and<br />
Horch built luxurious, premium-category<br />
cars. The International Motor Show held<br />
in Berlin in February 1933 was the first<br />
