• Participants: Eight drivers and eight jumping riders: The best placed driver from each<br />

team after competitions F1, F2 and F3 and eight riders upon invitation of the ALRV<br />

• Total endowment: € 11,000<br />

• One driver and one jumping rider are a team. The rider starts first and absolves a course with eight<br />

obstacles, after passing the last obstacle, the rider hands over his horse to a groom and climbs onto the<br />

carriage; the driver then absolves an obstacle course together with the rider on his carriage<br />

• The fastest team wins, each obstacle penalty will be penalized with 4 seconds<br />

S 10 Sparkassen-Youngsters-Cup FINAL<br />

• Jumping competition for young horses (7-8 years of age) with one<br />

round and jump-off; final of the “Youngsters Tour” (S 1, S 5 & S 10)<br />

• In the case of equality of penalties after the normal round a jump-off is decisive,<br />

• The ten best riders, or in any case all riders with 0 penalty points in the normal round qualify for the<br />

winning round. In the winning round, all riders start again with 0 penalty points; the rider with the least<br />

number of penalty points and the fastest time in the winning round wins<br />

• Total endowment: € 77,000<br />

• Participants: The five best female and the five best male athletes of the World Ranking List, plus, unless<br />

not qualified through the World Ranking List: individual gold medallist of the European Championships<br />

2011, individual gold medallist of the World Championships 2010, individual gold medallist of the Olympic<br />

Games 2012. In case there is no German ranked within the top five of the World Ranking List (female<br />

and male), the presently best ranked German male and/or female is entitled to start<br />

• The first round consists of K.O. duels of the fifth-best woman vs. the fifth-best man, the fourth-best<br />

woman vs. the fourth-best man etc.. From each duel, the participant with the least number of penalty<br />

points qualifies for the second round. In case a rider has a jumping penalty, he may choose to jump the<br />

“eraser fence” behind the finish line, if he jumps this fence clear, he compensates for one jumping fault<br />

from the normal course. In case of equality of penalties of two K.O.-contestants, the rider with the faster<br />

time qualifies for round two. The winners of all K.O.-duels start in the second round (rated according to<br />

penalties/time), all riders start again with zero penalties<br />

• Individual rating: The rider with the least number of penalty points and the fastest time in the 2 round wins<br />

• Team rating women vs. men: Through their achievements in rounds one and two, women and men collect<br />

points for “Team Women” and “Team Men”. For the overall team rating, the points of all women and all<br />

men are added up respectively, the team with the higher score wins.<br />

belongs to the "Speed-Tour"<br />

• The special characteristic of this competition is that the natural obstacles like e.g. the “Pulvermann´s Grab” or<br />

the lake are included in the course, spectacular through the combination of speed and natural obstacles<br />

• Penalty points are converted into penalty seconds; one jumping fault adds up to four penalty seconds;<br />

the rider with the fastest time wins<br />

• Obstacle height up to 1.40 m<br />

S 14 Accumulator Competition with Joker<br />

• Accumulator competition with joker<br />

• Total endowment: € 25,000<br />

• The course consists of obstacles with increasing levels of difficulty; a certain number of points is<br />

(ascendingly) allocated to each obstacle. If the rider jumps an obstacle without a fault, he gains the<br />

obstacle’s points, if he makes a fault, he does not gain the obstacle’s points. The final obstacle has two<br />

alternative ways, the more difficult one is the “Joker”, which is allocated a very high number of points.<br />

If the rider chooses the alternative “Joker” and does not make a jumping fault, he gains the points, if he<br />

makes a fault at the “Joker” obstacle, these points will be deducted from his total score.<br />

The rider with the highest total score and the fastest time wins<br />

• 40 competitors (for the qualification mode check the official schedule jumping) start in the first round,<br />

the 18 best riders of the first round qualify for the second round<br />

• In the case of equality of penalties after two rounds a jump-off is decisive,<br />

the rider with the least number of penalty points and the fastest time in the jump-off wins<br />

• Obstacle height up to 1.60 m<br />
