Malawi is one of the poorest countries on earth. Low<br />
on natural resources with an underdeveloped <strong>in</strong>frastructure<br />
and a weak school<strong>in</strong>g and tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g system<br />
Malawi depends highly on foreign aid. The economic<br />
and political situation is very tense.<br />

The fight aga<strong>in</strong>st HIV/Aids is one of the big challenges.<br />

Support of ELCM-programs, f. i. food support<br />
especially for Aids-orphans up to five years of age;<br />
<strong>in</strong>stallation of so called “feed<strong>in</strong>g centers”, which are<br />
a basis for the further support of children such as<br />
the support of school<strong>in</strong>g by subsidiz<strong>in</strong>g school fees.<br />
