CENTAX Series B
The CENTAX-series B is the economic
combination of the well proven highly
flexible CENTAX-element with a simple,
robust and axial plug in pin and bush
coupling. It is applied for all kinds of
main- and auxiliary drives, especially
on gensets. It provides all relevant features
for such applications: appropriate
torsional flexibility and good ability for
the compensation of radial, axial and
angular deflections or misalignments.
The rubber element can be exchanged
radially without disturbance and need
to move of the coupled units. The coupling
is free of maintenance.

Bei der CENTAX-Baureihe B werden ein
hochelastisches CENTAX-Element und
eine einfache, robuste und axial steckbare
Bolzenkupplung kombiniert: eine
äußerst ökonomische Lösung für jede
Art von Haupt- und Nebenantrieb, insbesondere
für Generatoren. Die Kupplung
bietet hierfür alle erforderlichen Eigenschaften:
eine geeignete Drehelastizität
sowie eine gute Verlagerungsfähigkeit
für radiale, axiale und winkelige
Fluchtungsfehler und Verlagerungen.
Das Gummielement ist ohne Verschiebung
der Aggregate radial tauschbar.
Die Kupplung ist wartungsfrei.

The CENTAX-TT series is based on a
unique design principle: 2 rubber sections,
arranged concentrically, acting
in parallel and radially precompressed,
jointly transmit the torque.
This series features high reliability, linear
stiffness characteristic on a medium
stiffness level and very intensive
inner and outer ventilation.
Areas of application: One or two row
series for gensets or ship propulsion on
rigid or stiff mounts. The version with a
spacer or shaft and 2 sets of elements,
one on each end, provides high flexibility
for engines on flexible mounts.

Die CENTAX-Baureihe TT basiert auf einem
besonderen Konstruktionsprinzip:
2 konzentrisch angeordnete, parallel
geschaltete und radial vorgespannte
segmentierte Gummiquerschnitte
übertragen das Drehmoment gemeinsam.
Die Baureihe zeichnet sich durch
eine äußerste Robustheit, eine lineare
Kennlinie mit mittlerem Drehsteifigkeitsniveau
und eine intensivierte innere
und äußere Ventilation aus.
Ihre Einsatzgebiete: Stromerzeuger
mit starr oder steif aufgestellten Motoren,
oder als Schiffshauptantrieb mit
elastischer Welle, wobei je ein Satz
CENTAX-TT-Elemente an jedem Ende
der Welle angeordnet ist.

CENTAX Series DP
CX-SEC-Intro-12
CENTAX-series DP uses the high torsional
and radial flexibility of the
CENTAX-element for damping torsional
vibrations and radial misalignments.
Due to the axial stiffness of the element
the coupling is perfectly suitable
for smooth transmission of torque and
propeller thrust to the gear.
This coupling series dampens torsional
vibrations, compensates the radial misalignment
and noise - noise and vibration
are reduced substantially.
An ideal and well proven coupling for
comfortable drives in passenger boats
and fast patrol crafts, specially for flexible
mounted gear or engine/gear
units.

Die CENTAX-Baureihe DP nutzt die hohe
Drehelastizität und die radiale Nachgiebigkeit
des CENTAX-Elementes zur
Drehschwingungsdämpfung sowie zum
Ausgleich von radialen Verlagerungen.
Gleichzeitig ist die Kupplung axial steif
und daher bestens für eine elastische
Übertragung des Propellerschubes auf
das Getriebe geeignet.
Die Kupplung gleicht Versatz aus und
dämpft Schwingungen und Geräusche,
Körperschall wird wesentlich reduziert.
Eine ideale und bewährte Kupplung für
komfortable Antriebe von Passagierschiffen
und Marineeinheiten mit elastisch
gelagertem Getriebe, Getriebeeinheiten
bzw. Motor.
