Fest für die Familie, Händel-Haus<br />
Das Bach Consort Wien unter Leitung des Argent<strong>in</strong>iers Rubén Dubrovsky wird<br />
von der Presse für se<strong>in</strong>e „konzeptionelle Klarheit“ und zugleich „mitreißende<br />
Virtuosität“ gefeiert. Im letzten Jahr begeisterten sie das Publikum der Händel-<br />
Festspiele <strong>Halle</strong> mit ihrem Auftritt geme<strong>in</strong>sam mit der Weltklasse-Sopranist<strong>in</strong><br />
Veronica Cangemi. Im Programm der kommenden Festspiele nehmen die Musiker<br />
ihre Zuhörer mit auf e<strong>in</strong>e spannende musikalische Reise: Für zwei der<br />
schönsten Psalmen, „S<strong>in</strong>get dem Herrn e<strong>in</strong> neues Lied“ und „Lobet den Herrn“,<br />
liegen je e<strong>in</strong>e Vertonung der drei deutschen Barockmeister vor. Bei J. S. Bach<br />
s<strong>in</strong>d es berühmte Motteten, bei G. F. Händel die „Chandos Anthems” und für<br />
G. Ph. Telemann Kirchenkantaten. Das ergibt dreimal „S<strong>in</strong>get“ und dreimal<br />
„Lobet“ mit exzellenten Musikern und Vokalsolisten.<br />
Conducted by Argent<strong>in</strong>e Rubén Dubrovsky, the Bach Consort Wien is feted by<br />
the press for its “conceptual clarity” comb<strong>in</strong>ed with “rous<strong>in</strong>g virtuosity”. Last<br />
year, they thrilled the audience at the Handel Festival by their performance with<br />
the world-class Veronica Cangemi. Dur<strong>in</strong>g their programme for the forthcom<strong>in</strong>g<br />
festival, the musicians will be tak<strong>in</strong>g the audience with them on a thrill<strong>in</strong>g musical<br />
journey. For two of the most beautiful psalms, “S<strong>in</strong>g to the Lord a new song”<br />
and “Praise the Lord“, there is one sett<strong>in</strong>g each by the three German masters of<br />
the Baroque. In the case of J. S. Bach, it consists of his famous motets, <strong>in</strong> that of<br />
G. F. Handel, the Chandos Anthems, and <strong>in</strong> the case of G. Ph. Telemann, his<br />
church cantatas. The result is three sett<strong>in</strong>gs of each psalm, performed by excellent<br />
musicians and vocal soloists.<br />
