Kessel ist durch die Beischreift lAZQN (vgl.<br />
C. I. Gr. nr. 7748) bezeichnet. Nach Hetfdemann<br />
S. 19 Aum. 48 ist der Name mit AlZQN<br />
verwechselt. Damit vergleicht Pyl S. 60 ein<br />
anderes Gefäls im Brit. Museum, bei Birdi<br />
1149 ff.); in der Darstellung bei Winckelmann,<br />
mon. inett. 91 trägt derselbe eine Lanze und hat<br />
neben sich einen Schild stehen. Auf den genannten<br />
Darstellungen steht zwischen der Vermählungsscene<br />
und der Darstellung von Kreusas<br />
Tod ein Jüngling, mit der Chlarays bekleidet,<br />
mit Lanze oder neben sich den Schild, der<br />
sich mit einem zweiten Jüngling unterredet;<br />
auch er ist als lason im Gespräch mit Aigeus<br />
nr. 1521 mit gleicher Darstellung, nur dafs lo {MiUin) oder einem Boten (früher JaJin) oder<br />
hier der Greis das Feuer knieend anfacht. — mit Hippotes {Pyl) gedeutet worden, sehr<br />
