<strong>Tybee</strong> Island YMCA Camp Schedule<br />
June 4th-June 8th: Mission Impossible Week<br />
Campers will enjoy completing a different mission each day as<br />
groups compete against each other to complete the most<br />
missions the fastest.<br />
June 11th-June 15th: Splish Splash Week<br />
Campers will enjoy water activities each day. If you choose to go,<br />
we will be taking a field trip to Summer Waves this week.<br />
June 18th-June 22nd: Y World of Sports Week<br />
Campers will go to Daffin Park this week to face-off against the<br />
other YMCAs. Which camp will win? Campers will also learn about<br />
a different sport each day.<br />
June 25th-June 29th: Safari Week<br />
Campers will go on an African adventure this week by learning<br />
something new about their culture each day. We will also be taking<br />
an optional field trip to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, South<br />
Carolina.<br />
July 2nd-July 6th (no camp on July 4th!): Holiday Week<br />
Campers will celebrate a different holiday each day with themed<br />
activities.<br />
July 9th-July 13th: Hollywood Week<br />
This week campers will compete in a lip sync contest as well as a<br />
Mr. and Mrs. Ugly pageant (campers will dress their counselors to<br />
participate in this pageant!).<br />
July 16th-July 20th: Under the Sea Week<br />
Campers will participate in more water games and have a second<br />
opportunity to go to Summer Waves.<br />
July 23rd-July 27th: Ooey Gooey Week<br />
Prepare to get messy! This week will include a wacky science day<br />
when campers will make slimy substances. Bring a change of<br />
clothes on Friday for our chocolate pudding slide!<br />
July 30th-Aug. 3rd: Superhero Week<br />
Campers will get to dress as their favorite super heroes in our<br />
super hero parade. Campers will also meet local heroes and<br />
transform their counselors into unique superheroes in our supercounselor<br />
pageant.<br />
Aug. 6th-Aug. 10th: Back to the Future Week<br />
Campers will travel back into pre-historic times through the year<br />
3000 in this week of time travel.<br />
Aug. 13th-Aug. 17th: Space Invaders Week<br />
Campers will battle in Battle of the Planets. We will also be going on<br />
an optional field trip to the Jacksonville Science Museum to see a<br />
planetarium show.<br />
Aug. 20th-Aug. 24th: Medieval Times Week<br />
Campers will enjoy the Southside YMCA Renaissance Fair at the<br />
end of the week.<br />
Aug. 27th-Aug. 31st: Carnival Week<br />
Campers will enjoy an end-of-summer carnival<br />
