the RCIA Process is all about. The
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
(RCIA) is a process for non-
Catholics who are interested in (or
even just thinking about) joining the
Catholic Church. Each year, our
parish begins this process to
welcome any and all who are curious
about, interested in, or just want to
know more about the Christian Faith
as it is lived and celebrated in the
Roman Catholic Tradition. The
process is less of a classroom
experience that it is an amicable faithsharing
among friends. Our 2007-
2008 Process begins on September
17th, 2007 and culminates with the
Saturday night Easter-Vigil Liturgy
on March 22, 2008. If you are

The Tybee Beautification Association
will have its annual Member
Recruitment Picnic at the
Campground on June 13 at
7 o’clock. This will be a covered
dish affair with TBA furnishing the
meat and soft drinks. Anyone
interested in becoming a member of
Tybee Beautification is invited to

Tybee Neighbors to Focus on the
Infrastructure Needs of the Island
during June 7th Meeting. The
meeting will be held at from 7pm to
9pm at the City Hall. Meetings are
open to all and there are no
membership fees. Presentations will
provide an opportunity for those living
and working on Tybee Island to learn
more about current and future
infrastructure challenges for the
Island. Tybee Neighbors is currently
encouraging those who live on the
Island to evaluate infrastructure
elements as part of a mini-survey on
the Tybee Neighbors websitewww.tybeeneighbors.com.
Infrastructure items surveyed include
the following: quality of drinking
water, water pressure, availability of
