� Objective
After passing this unit, students will have acquired the competencies necessary to communicate in a
professional manner, both orally and in writing, using vocabulary specific to the business world with
a structure and register appropriate to the company and its products.
7014BR – Business software applications

� Summary
This course unit will allow students to learn effective and essential word processing and presentation
software applications (Word and PowerPoint) through practical exercises meeting the requirements
of any professional environment. They will create complex documents and develop their critical
thinking skills on technical and graphical aspects, while evaluating their own documents and those of
their peers.
� Objective
At the end of the course, students will be able to produce professional Word documents and
PowerPoint presentations.
MODULE : MATHEMATICS AND LOGIC
In a managerial context, students will acquire the basic competencies necessary to resolve problems
by applying rational argument, scientific calculation and estimation.
After successfully passing this module, students will be able to translate a managerial situation into
mathematical language and act on the basis of justified reasoning.

� Summary
The course will enable students to acquire the mathematical competencies needed to advance to
higher levels of the programme. In a management context, students will apply the various
arithmetical, algebraic and analytical techniques used to resolve the problems encountered in a
scientific manner.
� Objective
After passing the course, students will be able to translate a managerial situation into mathematical
terms, so creating value for the company. They will be able to:
