<strong>MAN</strong> TGX sets new 9.27mpg record<br />
in Euro-5 press testing – as well as<br />
9.1mpg in <strong>the</strong> leading Euro-4 used<br />
truck test too!<br />
All <strong>the</strong> leading trade magazines, including <strong>the</strong> RHA’s<br />
influential ROADWAY magazine, saw <strong>MAN</strong>’s TGX 26.440<br />
achieve record breaking economy figures.<br />
The <strong>MAN</strong> TGX confirmed <strong>the</strong> high<br />
economy standards set at Euro-4 when winning Commercial<br />
Motor’s 1000 Mile Test, with a staggering 9.27mpg result for<br />
<strong>the</strong> Euro-5 model in <strong>the</strong> hands of <strong>the</strong> same magazine late<br />
last year. Following <strong>the</strong> resounding 9.1mpg achieved by <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>MAN</strong> TopUsed Euro-4 model, also tested last year by<br />
Commercial Motor, <strong>the</strong> TGX has surely set <strong>the</strong> standard<br />
o<strong>the</strong>r trucks must now be measured against.<br />
It wasn’t only <strong>the</strong> highly regarded weekly magazine that<br />
found TGX so frugal ei<strong>the</strong>r. <strong>In</strong>dustry magazines across <strong>the</strong><br />
country, from Transport News in Scotland, Export & Freight<br />
in Nor<strong>the</strong>rn Ireland, Fleet Transport south of <strong>the</strong> border and<br />
<strong>the</strong> RHA magazine, ROADWAY, all found <strong>the</strong> TGX set new<br />
levels of fuel economy.<br />
