Grady Cole Center & Memorial Stadium - Spring Events<br />
The <strong>Mecklenburg</strong> <strong>County</strong> Park and Recreation Department<br />
operates two major special event facilities, the Grady Cole<br />
Center and American Legion Memorial Stadium which<br />
are located adjacent to each other at 310 N. Kings Dr.,<br />
<strong>Charlotte</strong>, NC 28204.<br />
The Grady Cole Center is a 3,000 maximum capacity<br />
civic center that can accommodate multiple sport and<br />
leisure activities such as concerts, festivals, trade shows,<br />
basketball games (youth, high school, college and<br />
professional) and community meetings. The facility has<br />
great sight lines from any seat to the permanent<br />
stage and arena floor. Annual events include Step<br />
Shows, Roller Derby bouts, MMA events, Career Fairs<br />
and Charitable Fundraisers.<br />
